I wear a vest as a third layer almost every day of the year, now about this vest. I like it! I wanted something lighter to wear over flannel or other base layers, it also costs twice as much as others, and it's always nice. The material of this vest is very soft, which is the name of my review, and although it is quite comfortable, it also seems quite durable. Heat is what you expect from the vest of light and medium gravity. Comfortable, always perfect cut, a collar with a zipper for the heat of the neck, pockets with a zipper and (for me) very important roomy inner pockets that are reliable enough for my to dry well wears and (for me) correct weight not to be too heavy or too warm, I wore it on some rainy days on the street and it seems to spill water well too. Ideally in rainy days you would wear a raincoat over it, but I think this vest will fit in a little rain until it gets wet. To me
